Milestone reinforces theme, “Our Bird, Your Business – Future Success”
EDINBURGH, Scotland. – The Aviagen® Arbor Acres® team welcomed customers from across the Middle East, Africa, Asia, Russia and Kazakhstan to Dubai during Oct. 21-25. The common goal was to mark the milestones and achievements of Arbor Acres, which has become a globally recognized brand over the past 85 years. The multicultural event provided a unique opportunity for key leaders to exchange ideas and plan together for the future success of the Arbor Acres brand.
Attendees observed the theme, “Our bird, Your Business – Future Success.” The theme sums up the Arbor Acres mission to strengthen the leadership of our valued Arbor Acres customers and distributors, who are an extension of the Aviagen distribution network, while advancing the brand and its future in their regional industry.
Decades of growth and innovation
CEO Jan Henriksen gave a presentation on the support behind the Arbor Acres brand which highlighted the continued investment in R&D and the breeding program to ensure the best possible Arbor Acres products for the market, the expertise of the local Aviagen and Arbor Acres Customer Service Teams (AACST), knowledge sharing and the Arbor Acres focus on security of supply within its operations worldwide.
A concurrent theme of the presentations were, the number of different attributes that make the Arbor Acres brand unique which includes the performance, the continued support and education, the people behind the brand and their relationships with the customers. An R&D representative focused on Arbor Acres performance in the future through the support of a balanced breeding program, the high health and welfare standards and the continual R&D investment in technology.
Guest speakers addressed trends and issues affecting the poultry industry and the importance of leadership to propel the Arbor Acres brand into the future.
A recognition dinner where awards were presented to loyal customers with fifteen or more years of history and experience with the Arbor Acres brand also provided the opportunity to engage and share in the breed’s success and strengthen relationships.
Confidence in the future
